agb probe

Measure pool concurrency and latency and append the results to a calibration file.

agb probe sends trivial prompts to a model at increasing concurrency widths and prints one JSON line per width.

Synopsis

agb probe [widths]

Measure pool concurrency/latency, print JSON lines.

This command takes no flags.

Arguments

Both arguments are optional (C12):

  • widths: comma-separated concurrency widths, default 2,4,8.
  • model: the model label, default Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low) (a legacy alias kept as the default).

Each row reports model, width, ok, wall_ms, median_ms and max_ms.

Calibration output

When at least one request succeeds, the rows are appended to probe-<YYYY-MM-DD>.md in AGB_CALIBRATION_DIR, or in the plugin's own docs/calibration/ directory when that is unset. A failed write is reported but does not change the exit code (calibration write).

Known issue (T-CODE-FIXES-AUDIT item 6)

Without AGB_CALIBRATION_DIR, the calibration file is written inside the installed plugin, not in your repository. Set AGB_CALIBRATION_DIR to keep the file.

See Calibration.
